Three Steps for Using AI to Plan for Meetings

You know that feeling when a meeting ends and you’re like, “wait, what was the point of that?” AI can help you avoid being the one who called that meeting.

Planning with AI isn’t overkill. It’s clarity.

Here’s how I use it before almost every important meeting:

▪️ Step 1: Give it the scenario

“I’ve got a product feedback sync meeting at 10am, what should I prep?” That’s all it takes to get a starting point.

▪️ Step 2: Build the flow

Let it sketch out the structure: what to open with, what to prioritize, and where to leave space for conversation.

▪️ Step 3: Check for blind spots

Run your draft back through the AI and ask what you might be forgetting. You’ll be surprised how often it catches something real.

You don’t need to sound like a robot. You just need to show up prepared.

AI gives you a 5-minute head start.
